June MaryLISTERMary LISTER It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Lister announce her peaceful passing at University Hospital Wales, Cardiff on 4th April 2025, aged 87.

Devoted and beloved wife of the late John Lister, much loved Mum of Sharon and Mark and his wife Alison, adored Grandma of Claire, Dorothy and Morgan and proud Great Grandma of Grace.

Mary was a remarkable lady. She was a stalwart of Cardiff Athletics club running the club canteen, fund raising and serving on the committee for over half a century. She and John were regular attenders at local, national and international events supporting and encouraging all the athletes. She was also well known in Lisvane and a regular at St Denys Church. She will be very much missed by her family, friends, Cardiff Athletics, Welsh Athletics and the community in Lisvane.

Funeral Service will take place at St Denys Church on Tuesday 20 May at 1:00pm followed by Private Cremation at Briwnant Chapel, Thornhill. Those attending are asked to wear a dash of colour.
